Rosi Badalamenti

Aloha! My name is Rosi Badalamenti.  I was born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan but came to Hawaii in 2014 and immediately fell in love with the island and people.  My road to becoming a doula began as a young girl with my desire to one day deliver babies. This passion lead to me to immerse myself in the birthing community and taking the doula training course. After leaving the first day of training I immediately knew that being a doula was something I would be doing the rest of my life.  I was awakened and emboldened to help women create the most positive and personal birthing experience for themselves and their partner.

I come from a very large Italian family with many strong women, each who have had experiences with birth that were both negative and positive. For them, giving birth in a hospital was the only option and having a birth plan with options and preferences was something unheard of.  I want to change that perception of birth and be an advocate, a voice, and a support for women and their partners as they experience their own journey with birth.

Congratulations on this beautiful journey you are on and I am so excited to be able to partake in it with you.
