Junior Doula and Childbirth Educator
Certified Labor and Birth Doula, Certified Childbirth Educator
My journey to becoming a doula really began in 2008 with my first pregnancy, which ended in an early miscarriage. The sacred, beautiful, powerful, poignant world of birth was opened to me then and my interest and love of all things birth grew stronger through the years that passed. In that time I have brought my own 4 children into the world, and began supporting other women in their birth journeys in 2013. I completed both my DONA and Lamaze certifications in 2019, and am honored to continue learning, teaching and supporting birth. As a doula my style is intuitive, calm and gentle. I usually know when to offer a suggestion, a piece of information or a comforting touch. . . and also when to be still and simply witness the beauty and power of a woman in labor. I have a deep respect and reverence for birth and I am a true believer in a woman's sovereignty and autonomy to give birth in whatever way SHE feels is best.
I serve expecting families on the North Shore of Oahu.
