Aloha e Komo Mai, Welcome to BEST Birth Hawaii
OUR MISSION
To create a safe space for women, and their families, to learn about pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding and the postpartum period. At BEST Birth Hawaii we don't advocate for a certain way of giving birth, we believe in a woman's right to make an informed choice. We understand the challenges that women face in their childbearing years and it is our mission to support women on their journey through caring and professional guidance, as well as provide an opportunity for them to connect
with peers and build meaningful relationships.
Philosophy
At BEST Birth Hawaii we support women and their partners on their journey through pregnancy, birth and early parenting. We strongly believe that when people have all the information, they will make the decisions that are right for THEM and their families. We support those decisions without bias and trust that we can help reach the goals that have been set. At BEST Birth Hawaii we do not advocate for a certain way of giving birth, we believe in a woman's right to make an informed choice. It is our opinion that respect is the most important factor that influences a mother's birth experience and it is our goal to make sure all our clients are treated with respect and dignity. We aim to empower them so their voice is heard throughout pregnancy, labor and birth.

Even though women have been giving birth for hundreds of thousands of years and not much has changed about the actual process, our society is ever changing. Therefore, it is BEST Birth Hawaii’s standard to have all our team members trained and certified (or actively working towards certification) and adhere to DONA International's Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics. We are continuously updating on the latest evidence-based information related to our field and hold current adult and infant CPR certificates and regularly attend continuing education training.
We look forward to working with you and supporting you to make this your BEST pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding and postpartum experience possible.

Mahalo and Aloha,
