Rashia
Labor and Birth Doula
Hello! My name is Rashia Bell and my journey to becoming a doula is an exciting one for me, as it is work that I have wanted to do for many years. The passion behind it was unearthed during my personal spiritual journey and work path, and from having the privilege of hearing the birth experiences of so many around me.
Â
I have spent nearly15 years as a Holistic Interior Designer, Crystal Healer, Yoga and Somatic Movement Practitioner, with work spanning from 1:1 personal healing work, intuitive coaching and wellness retreats, to energetically harmonizing spaces and designing holistically balanced environments. This has been done through my work as the founder of THE CRISTALLINE a holistic energy lifestyle company that serves to help one find greater balance and alignment, whose aspects I have seen can directly benefit those moving through the life transition of pregnancy and birth. In May 2020, I co-founded the global elemental energy-sleep wellness company RE.VITYL, which is all about prioritizing natural and holistic sleep health for greater wellbeing and living a vibrant life. And we know moms and those-to-be are all about maximizing quality sleep!
Â
Throughout the years in this passionate work, I have had the pleasure of supporting birth parents in curating ceremonial birth experiences, pre-natal energy healing, and holistic nursery design. And I continue to expand my knowledge for creating energetic alchemy by merging it with my efforts to champion women’s health through preserving the ancient wisdom of native and indigenous practices, and I believe this starts at Birth!
Â
I am also a graduate of both the Fashion Institute of Technology, and The New York School of Interior Design, I have worked in fashion and jewelry for luxury brands, and my present work is rooted in intuitive connectivity, exploring mind/body and spatial connections amplified by the integration of natural crystal stones. This work has allowed me to travel the globe as a Resident Holistic Master for The Four Seasons Hotels & Auberge Resorts, and be featured in The New York Times, Vogue, Forbes, Architectural Digest and on Net-A-Porter, and Goop.
Â
I am thrilled to expand my work with birthing clients, in an even deeper capacity as a Doula, Childbirth Educator and Holistic Birth Designer. And I am forever grateful for the opportunity to hold space and support you in cultivating your unique birth journey experience.
