Hi, I’m Jenn. My passion for birth began 30+ years ago. Long story short, after a traumatic fear based c-section with my firstborn, I dedicated myself to understanding birth. I successfully sought to achieve VBAC births for my next two children. I earned my certificate as a medical and laboratory assistant and worked in ob/gyn and laboratory services before attending my first birth for a friend in need.
As a lifelong learner, I sought more education and earned a degree in legal studies, and worked in a position helping people who were hurting from different ailments for a few years before returning to the birth world in 2011 where I officially trained to become a certified childbirth assistant. I focused on labor and birth support, postpartum, lactation support, and childbirth education with Commonsense Childbirth School of Midwifery in Orlando, FL.
Serving expectant families is such a blessing. I am a proud mother of 3 amazing adults who are married. We were blessed with our first grandchild nearly 2 years ago. In my downtime, you can find me swimming, hanging out on my SUP, I recently found out that I enjoy surfing (who knew??) and hiking.

I am currently the instructor for the Monday evening BEST Birth classes and also teach private sessions. I am accepting doula clients for 2023.
